Volunteer Opportunities
Would you like to volunteer for The Butterfly Trust?
These are some of the volunteer roles we currently have available.
Volunteer Support Workers
- Provide support to families affected by cystic fibrosis.
- Provide information and advice to families about the Trust and other relevant services available
to them.
- Provide advocacy to access services, benefits and other areas of difficulty.
Volunteer Youth Befrienders (Cool Friends)
- A friend to share interests and encourage aspirations.
- A mentor to offer support and discuss concerns.
- Someone to share in social activites.
Volunteer Massage Therapists

Volunteer
Administration/Promotional Assistants - Help in our Head Office with general administration
/promotion of the Trust.
- Help arranging promotional talks.
- Deal with telephone enquiries.
Volunteer Fundraisers
- Someone to come into our Head Office and assist with fundriasing activities.
- Help arranging fundraising events and raffles.
- Find locations for collection tins and pin badges
- Find other ways of securing income for the Trust.
Volunteer Fundraising Collectors
- Enthusiastic people to stand at supermarkets and football stadiums with collection buckets.
